I've worked with Lori Spicer Robertson on several volunteer projects in Memphis, so I was honored to work with her on her most memorable project yet - her wedding. When I worked on these wedding invitations last year, I didn't know Lori and her new husband Eric would eventually grace the cover of
Memphis Health + Fitness magazine as a power couple. On top of that, Lori made the Memphis Flyer 20 < 30 List. And when I say "made" it, I mean she defines it. The impressive nature of "you've done all that and you're how young?" She's definitely the kind of mover and shaker Memphis needs.
Lori was of course the visionary for this creative and classic wedding theme inspired by a night in Tunisia. I helped create the pattern and worked on layouts for the invite, save the date, and program, but Lori pulled it all together with the choice of colors and travel theme that drove the clever idea of the invitations as a boarding pass. The wedding program was even part of the theme as an airline travel magazine you would find tucked in front of you on the plane.
Thanks so much to photographer Amy Hutchinson for documenting these pieces we created. The first time I saw her work was her engagement shoot with Lori and Eric downtown, so beautifully shot. I was mesmerized. Click
